Dr. Allyson Leacock

Director, National Transformation Initiative
She is also Chairman of the Barbados Broadcasting Authority, the International Institute of Communications (IIC) Small Nations Regulators’ Forum, the Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps Training Committee, and Combermere School. Additionally, Dr. Leacock owns a Media and Human Development Consultancy.

With 38 years in executive management in corporate communications, media, needs assessment, training, human resource development and leadership, she holds Masters ( cum laude) and PhD degrees in Educational Technology, Concordia University, Canada and BA (Double First Class Honours) in English and Education and a Diploma in Education (DipEd with distinction) from Stirling University, UK. Her training also includes Diplomas in Human Resource Management, Facility Management, Arts Management and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

She is trained in sign language and is a volunteer with Special Olympics and Barbados Council for the Disabled. Her advocacy for and inclusion of people with disabilities is a fundamental part of the NTI's mandate, and her wide-ranging skillset ensures that the NTI delivers its vision.

Marcelle Greenidge

NTI Assistant Director, Coursera, Communications and Client Success
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literatures in English with Linguistics and Sociology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. This led to her first career choice in journalism. A second career spanned almost two decades in corporate communications, marketing communications and corporate social responsibility.

Along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, Dublin, her education includes a Master of Business Administration degree and a Postgraduate Award in Career Development, both from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, Coventry.

Naturally curious, excited by the process of learning, and proficient in project management using traditional and agile approaches, she combines multiple strands of her knowledge and experience to serve a small team in advancing the mandate of the National Transformation Initiative.

Raphael Saul

NTI Assistant Director, BEST, Implementation and Strategic Partnerships
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and is a business consultant, motivational speaker, corporate trainer, attorney and entrepreneur with a passion for helping people achieve their full potential and businesses exceed their targets.

After years as legal counsel for telecommunications corporation Cable & Wireless Communications, Raphael began motivational speaking and consulting for companies in finance, insurance, retail, automotive and hospitality. He is a PROSCI Certified Change Management Practitioner and uses both the ADKAR change management model and various agile approaches to champion the leadership of the people side of change.

Raphael has led enterprise change and integration projects in volatile merger & acquisition environments, including programme design and implementation. He puts his vast work experience into transforming Barbadian lives through learning.
