Hi NTI Learner,

Inclusive education benefits students with disabilities and enhances the learning journey for everyone involved. That’s why we’re thrilled to have a fully accessible platform on NTI-Coursera. This week’s recommended courses empower educators with the skills and insights needed to foster supportive learning environments for every student, regardless of ability. Let’s take action to shape a more inclusive Barbados together, creating “A brighter future for every child” – “One Community: United in Action” (Theme for the Month of the Disabled).

“You’re Not Defined By Your Challenges”

This Midweek Mindset session was extra special with not one, not two, but three amazing guests from Young Explorers! This school is all about personalised small-group instruction using creative techniques. Young Explorers creates an environment where challenges are embraced, teaching students that challenges don’t define them. Hear more about their community and their NTI-NIFCA-award-winning entry from principal Margaret-Ann Gorham, teacher Sheree-Ann Lashley and student Daquone Bryan.
