“Don’t Judge People with Disabilities, You Don’t Know Their Abilities”

Tune into this week’s Midweek Mindset as Talibah shares her remarkable journey of navigating life and athleticism with cerebral palsy. She made waves as the first Barbadian to compete in the Pan Am Paralympic Games in Chile, snagging an impressive 5th place. Then, she clinched a spot at the para badminton World competition in Thailand, where she now proudly holds the 28th world ranking. At just 22, she’s also the youngest member on the board and the Public Relations Officer of BARNOD (Barbados National Organisation for the Disabled). Don’t miss her insights on the importance of sports for people with disabilities and more!
