Hi NTI Learner,
Wherever you go in the world, chances are you’ll meet a Bajan. That’s why building global skills matters. Because even as we stay grounded in who we are, we’re also part of something much bigger.
With CARICOM nationals soon able to move, live and work more freely across member states, it’s a quiet but meaningful step toward deeper regional connection and opportunity.
But to make the most of this shift, we need more than just access. We need the skills to collaborate well, communicate across cultures and carry ourselves with confidence, not just as Barbadians, but as Caribbean citizens. So we’re spotlighting four free online courses you can explore at your own pace.

Youth and Culture
We were joined by four bright young women from the Division of Culture’s internship programme, and they truly impressed! From event management to photography and content creation, these interns are gaining hands-on experience in fields that are vital to how we share, connect and collaborate.
They also spoke about the Season of Emancipation, their personal growth, and what the internship has taught them about cultural pride. One listener said it best: “I see nothing but hope for our youth in these four outstanding young ladies.” Catch the replay below.
